Participating authors are given two options for each of the work they wish to present at our conference: (i) to publish an abstract in our conference proceedings and (ii) to publish both an abstract in our conference proceedings and a full-length paper in a Scopus-indexed journal
The abstracts of all works presented at the conference will be published in the Proceedings of the 3rd International Babylon Conference on Clinical and Experimental Pharmacological Research (Hillah; June 29–30, 2026), which will appear (both online and in print) as Volume 1 of the series Colloquia Erudita
- The proceedings are the official record of the conference: they record all keynote speeches and oral presentations of the conference through 500-word abstracts.
- This year’s proceedings will be edited by Rafal J. Al-Saigh, Argyro Kyriakaki, and Apostolos Zarros.
- Submission of an abstract for inclusion in the conference proceedings is mandatory for all who wish to present their work at the conference.
- DEADLINE: The abstract submission deadline is April 01, 2026.
- TEMPLATE: Please use this event-specific abstract template in order to prepare and submit your abstract for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
- The publication of an abstract in the conference proceedings is per se free of charge; however, attending authors are still required to register for the event.
- Each of the proceedings abstract will be published online upon acceptance, will be open-access and citable, and will receive a DOI.
- Colloquia Erudita (ISSN-print: 2979-0689; ISSN-online: 2979-0697) is an open-access series of proceedings aiming to serve the need of academic institutions, research groups, and scholarly societies for the rapid and permanently accessible publication of their congress, conference, or symposium proceedings.
- Upon submitting an abstract for inclusion in proceedings scheduled to be published in Colloquia Erudita, all authors must be in complete agreement regarding its content and must ensure that the abstract conforms to all applicable aspects of the editorial policy outlined in this webpage.
- Authors are advised to familiarize themselves with the guidelines and the policies of the series prior to the submission of an abstract for inclusion in it.

Authors may optionally submit papers related to works presented at the conference for peer review; accepted submissions will be published in a supplementary issue of the open-access, Scopus-indexed journal Pharmakeftiki
- No manuscripts will be considered if they are not clearly associated with works scheduled to be presented at the conference, as certified by already submitted / accepted proceedings abstracts.
- The supplementary issue will be guest-edited by Rafal J. Al-Saigh, Argyro Kyriakaki, and Apostolos Zarros.
- DEADLINE: The manuscript submission deadline is April 01, 2026.
- TEMPLATE: Please use this event-specific paper template in order to prepare and submit your manuscript for consideration for publication in the aforementioned supplementary issue of Pharmakeftiki.
- Manuscripts that are not prepared based on the aforementioned template will be returned to the authors.
- All manuscripts will undergo peer review in collaboration with the conference’s scientific committee as well as external experts, in line with the journal’s policies.
- Early manuscript submission is highly advised.
- Publication of a paper in Pharmakeftiki incurs an additional cost for authors (please contact the conference’s Organizing Committee for details); accordingly, interested conference attendees must also register for the event.
- The corresponding author will receive a certificate of acceptance by the journal’s publisher upon the acceptance of his / her manuscript.
- Each of the accepted manuscripts will be published online as an article upon acceptance, will be open-access and citable, and will receive a DOI.
- Pharmakeftiki (ISSN-print: 1105-4999; ISSN-online: 2241-3081) is an open-access, Scopus-indexed journal founded by the Hellenic Society of Medicinal Chemistry (HSMC) in 1988 and currently published independently with the support of both the HSMC and the Hellenic Pharmaceutical Society.
- Upon acceptance of a manuscript, all authors will be required to confirm the following statements: (i) that the manuscript’s details are accurate, and all data and claims presented in the manuscript are – to the best of their knowledge and belief – accurate and truthful, (ii) that the said manuscript either does not contain material of which the copyright belongs to a third party, or if it does, that this fact has been disclosed to the editors and the authors have obtained the necessary permission from the copyright-holder(s) in order to publish this material in their paper, (iii) that the authors have not made any unacknowledged use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) or of AI-assisted technologies in the preparation and / or in the writing process of their manuscript, (iv) that the manuscript has not been published before, nor is submitted for publication elsewhere, and (v) that they understand that the editors and the conference organisers bear no responsibility whatsoever for the indexing process of the journal’s content or for any changes in the journal’s indexing status or metrics.
